I was one of around twelve developers on a team building custom modules on top of Odoo for internal company use. Between us we delivered more than ten modules covering day-to-day operations, extending Odoo's models and views in Python and XML on a PostgreSQL backend. The modules are used by over 200 staff members. Working at that team size meant a lot of the job was coordination: agreeing on conventions across modules, translating requirements from non-technical departments, and keeping the modules maintainable as the business processes behind them changed.
