Nel Sokchhunly

I'm a software engineer building web and mobile applications. Most of my work sits in the Next.js and TypeScript world, with React Native on the mobile side, and I'm comfortable going down into the backend when a project needs it.

I was the sole developer on the ECCC Crime Site, a public education platform about the Khmer Rouge regime. I've also worked on a team of around twelve developers delivering 10+ custom Odoo modules used by over 200 staff, shipped a campus dashboard used by 100+ students, and led the frontend team on Kjeybook, which was voted Best Project by the bootcamp committee.

I've worked in agile teams alongside designers, backend engineers and non-technical stakeholders, and I like problems where the hard part is figuring out what to build rather than just how to build it.
