A chat application built with VueJS and Pinia on the frontend, backed by Pocketbase. I built it to understand how a real-time chat application works end to end rather than reaching for an existing service — message delivery, state handling, and persistence all built from scratch. It was also designed to run entirely inside an internal wifi network with no internet connection, which shaped the choice of a self-hosted backend.
